Origins

After several years lurking around various tech forums, I was able to contractually bind myself to a few really great unicorn deals. I found myself with more resources than needed. I decided to funnel these resources into a community-centric service portfolio that would be educational and useful for both myself and the end users.

Underneath all the virtuous philanthropy is a marketing experiment to see if I can generate enough revenue through affiliate programs to pay for the services.

Idlers.top was born as an idea in September 2025 and launched in October 2025.

To Do

Without timeline and in no particular order:

Add notification channels where appropriate
Single Sign on for all monitoring services
Add support channels to grow engagement

Funding

This service is funded entirely out of my pocket. The total cost is less than $50 a year for servers and domain.
